Henry Gnecco Photography

I photograph bands the way they like to present their music, and businesses the way their customers will find them. Close to Home is my ongoing series about the places we pass every day. Every print is made in-house.

How a shoot works

  1. Plan it together

A short call about the shot list, timing, and anything the venue or space needs.

  2. Shoot on location

I work the room as it is: the light, the crowd, the customers.

  3. Edit & deliver

Edited, full-resolution images in a private online gallery within 3 days, cleared for web and social.

  4. Print, if you want

Prints made in-house, sized and finished for where they’ll hang.

Questions

Can I order prints of my photos?

Yes. Prints are made in-house, so size and finish can be matched to where they’ll hang.

Can you print my own work?

Yes. I print for artists and photographers in standard frame sizes and custom panoramic crops, on high-grade paper. Send a message with the size and paper you have in mind.

About Henry

I believe the value of photography lies in its limits. It doesn’t give you the blank canvas of painting, and that suits the way I work best. It also makes it well suited to real jobs: showing a band, a shop or a town as it is.

I mix old and new techniques, gear and ideas to make pictures that look like mine while keeping the point of the work in focus. I print my own photos, so I decide how each one is finally seen.
