About Henry
I am in the process of gearing up to specialize in Doc Martens & Solovair repair in a way no other does in the US. I know so many people who wear Doc Martens & Solovair, but most cobblers won’t/can’t work on them due to their unique design. I have experimented to find effective methods to bond soles to original welts, sourced the unique edge trimmer to cut the iconic edge lines into the soles, and imported Solovair soles from the UK for the most authentic look and feel possible. Aside from my venture into Docs & Solovair, I am also passionate about high quality work boots, and have experience both working in and on them!
I have found home at a well respected local MA shoe & boot repair shop where I work with and continue to learn from my mentor John. I resole and repair boots, Doc Martens & Solovair, Birkenstocks and sneakers, and take on custom leatherwork.
